Davidson Malam debuts with a clean sheet for Laugu United

As it was stated earlier in Oceania Football Center’s website, goalkeeper James Do’oro was not available to play for Laugu United against Marist this Saturday. His absence opened the doors for the debut of a young and talented goalkeeper: Davidson Malam.

Malam was the Solomon Islands National Team starter goalkeeper in the U17 World Cup held in Brazil, playing all three matches in the tournament. He played 90 minutes in his debut and helped Laugu to take one point home in a 0-0 draw against Marist.

Laugu is currently in the sixth position with 15 points.
