Joe Bell reaches NCAA College Cup final with Virginia Cavaliers

Virgina Cavaliers faced Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the NCAA College Cup semifinals, the main football (soccer) league at College level in United States. There was one player from New Zealand in pitch: Joe Bell for Virginia Cavaliers.

Cavaliers won by 2-1 with two goals scored by Daryl Dike. Bell played 90 minutes for Cavs. Matthew Warbrick is another New Zealander in Cavaliers squad but he did not play.

Harris is also named a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy, which is given to the top play in Division I men’s college soccer. Virginia is going to face Georgetown Hoyas in the grand final on Sunday (Monday in Oceania).
