The current PNG National Soccer League title holders Lae City FC are already flying to Luganville, Vanuatu in order to compete at OFC Champions League 2020. The club will face the locals of Malampa Revivors, the Solomon Islanders of Henderson Eels and the Fijian powerhouse Lautoka.
The club already announced the squad they will be sending to the competition, the two recent recruits from Ecuador are in the team for the competition. Alwin and Felix Komolong, members of the Papua New Guinea national team, will not be available for the coach Peter Gunemba in the group stage of the regional tournament.
