Alden Suri has recently arrived in New Zealand to keep on his football career by getting a scholarship at Scots College, a school that holds a partnership with Wellington Phoenix Academy.
His first opportunity to show his talent was in a futsal tournament: The Wellington Futsal Regional Tournament. Suri was a key player in the championship as he scored eight goals in six matches to help Scots College to win the trophy.

Suri did not score in the final match but he managed to play an important role in the 1-0 win. He was not the only Scots’ player that took part of FIFA U17 World Cup held in Brazil last year as goalkeeper Alex Paulsen was also in the squad for this futsal tournament.
