Dickson Magi returns to his roots at Laugu United to boost Telekom S-League campaign

Solomon Islands international forward Dickson Magi is set to return to his roots by rejoining his boyhood club, Laugu United, for the remainder of the Telekom S-League season. After an adventurous stint abroad with Vanuatu’s Galaxy FC, Magi is eager to bring his experience and skills back home, where he first made his mark.

Magi’s journey has been marked by significant milestones. His recent experience with Galaxy FC, one of Vanuatu’s premier football teams, provided him with valuable exposure. His time in Vanuatu allowed him to refine his abilities and gain insights that he now brings back to Laugu United, a club where he previously earned call-ups to the Solomon Islands national team.

Laugu United, who have been striving to strengthen their squad for a more competitive season, will benefit greatly from Magi’s return. The forward’s presence is expected to significantly bolster the team’s attacking options and contribute to their push up the league table.

The club’s efforts to reinforce their lineup are further supported by the arrivals of Atkin Kaua and Jared Rongosulia. Both Kaua and Rongosulia are familiar faces to Laugu United fans, having played for the club in the past. Kaua, who also played alongside Magi at Galaxy FC, and Rongosulia, who had a stint in Fiji, are set to provide valuable experience and depth to the squad.

With these key additions, Laugu United aims to capitalize on their strengthened lineup and improve their performance in the Telekom S-League. The return of Dickson Magi, coupled with the rejoining of Kaua and Rongosulia, signals a promising phase for the black and white side as they aim to make a significant impact in the league’s remaining fixtures.
