S-League – Weekend Review

KOSSA VS ISABEL UNITED (POSTPONED)

Just like last weekend against Malaita Kingz, Kossa match was postponed because they have eight players and their head coach currently representing Solomon Islands National Teams.

LAUGU UNITED 0-5 SOLOMON WARRIORS

Solomon Warriors beat Laugu United by 5-0 and is the new leader of Telekom S-League overcoming Henderson Eels with nineteen points in seven matches. Jerry Donga scored a crucial hat-trick by scoring the two opening goals for Warriors. Gibson Daudau and Tony Kaltack scored the other goals. Kaltack now has eleven goals and still leads the Golden Boot race.

MARIST 2-1 MALAITA KINGZ

A vital win for Marist and a terrible loss for Malaita Kingz. Bobby Lesley scored twice to take Marist to the fourth place in the table. Malaita Kignz remains in the third position but they are now six points behind second place Henderson Eels. At this moment a Champions League spot is too far from Malaita Kingz.

GUADALCANAL 3-1 REAL KAKAMORA

Guadalcanal wins the “bottom derby” and now has three points in the table while Real Kakamora remains in ninth place with zero points. John Junior Kovila was the key player for Guadalcanal scoring a brace to give them their first win in this S-League season.
