The seventh round of Coupe de France has been drawn. This round marks the beginning of overseas territories teams journey in the biggest cup of the world. Oceania will be represented by two teams: AS Vènus from Tahiti and Hienghène Sport from New Caledonia.
AS Vénus is having a bright year, winning the 2018-19 Tahiti Ligue 1 and the 2019 Coupe de Tahiti Nui led by Teaonui Tehau who scored 53 goals in these two competitions (42 in league and 11 in cup). They are going to play against Racing Besançon from French 5th tier on 16 November. The match will be held in Pirae, Tahiti.

If AS Vénus is having a marvelous year, Hienghène Sport’s year is even more incredible. They are the current champions of Oceania Champions League, the current champion of New Caledonia Cup and the current leader of Mobil Super Ligue with only one match remaining. They will travel to France to face ASPV Strasbourg from French 5th tier on 17 November. This cup match is also part of Hienghène Sport preparation for 2019 FIFA Club World Cup that will be held in Qatar.
