Isabel United stuns Malaita Kings in Nigel Dabinyaba debut

The midweek clash between Malaita Kings and Isabel United marked the debut of the brilliant Papua New Guinea international Nigel Dabinyaba. The club from Malaita hoped to grab all points of this match to get closer to the 2nd placed Henderson Eels in the table. A hard fought match see Maeobia and Isabel United to come with the best result. The young forward scored the goal that was the difference between two teams. The 1-0 victory was enough to secure a very important win for the club from Isabel province.

Malaita Kings now sees Henderson Eels seven points upfront in the second place and has its 3rd place in the table threatened by Kossa that draw in the weekend against the same Henderson Eels.

Isabel United after this result advances in the table and sits 5th in the table with 12 points, overtaking Marist position in the standings.
