OFC U16 Women’s Championship was originally scheduled to take place in New Zealand between 30 September and 12 October. However a measles outbreak in New Zealand forced Oceania Football Confederation to postpone the tournament.
Due to this issue the championship will take place on Tahiti in december and nine teams will fight for a spot in 2020 U17 Women’s World Cup that will be held in India.
