It was reported that Solomon Warriors player Molea Tigi assaulted Henderson Eels defender Derrick Taebo after the clash between both teams on December 14. The Telekom S-League finished and Tigi kept playing all matches until the end of the season.
According to local people, Tigi was offended by Taebo before the assault. There is no news about this case. It is not known if Tigi or/and Taebo were punished. However, both players are already confirmed to play for their respective teams for 2020 OFC Champions League.
Molea Tigi was one of the most important players of Solomon Warriors in the 2019-20 season. He scored 11 goals in 13 matches to help his team to win the league.
