Krishna scores again but ATK falls to Chennaiyin in 2019-20 Indian Super League

ATK received Chennaiyin FC at Salt Lake City in Kolkata for the 17th matchweek of 2019-20 Indian Super League, the top-tier of Indian football. It was the penultimate round of the regular season and ATK is already qualified for the play-offs.

Fijian forward Roy Krishna played 90 minutes and scored a goal in the first half but it was not enough for ATK as they lost to Chennaiyin by 3-0. The worst news for the Kolkata’s team is Micahel Soosairaj’s injury. He left the field in the first half and he was replaced by Anas Edathodika. You can check the match highlights by clicking here.

ATK is now in the second position with one match remaining in the regular season. Krishna’s goals was crucial for him in the Golden Boot race as he is now back to the top with 14 goals scored.
