Another young player from New Zealand has joined a new club in Europe for 2020-21 season: Jamie Searle. It is going to be his second club in Europe as he spent the last season with Aston Villa, featuring for their U-23 side.
He played for Melville United (New Zealand) from 2017 to 2019 before moving to England. Searle played four matches for Aston Villa U-23 and he conceded seven goals. The 19-year-old goalkeeper is expected to have more game time at Swansea’s youth teams.

Swansea is a football club based in Cardiff (Wales) but they play in English football league system alongside their rivals Cardiff City.
Despite playing in Europe, Searle never had the opportunity to represent his country internationally but he might receive this opportunity soon. Oceania Football Center wish him good luck in his new club.
