Although Kumar has been appointed as interim head coach, it is evident that Lautoka Football Association is placing a great deal of faith in him. The team is hoping to return to its golden days which they reached the OFC Champions League final. With his experience and knowledge, Kumar is expected to help the team achieve this goal.
