Joe Moses has officially joined Vanuatu United, strengthening the Port Vila club with a forward who has already shown that he can make decisive contributions in important matches.
The Vanuatu international arrives after a strong period with Galaxy FC, where he was part of the club’s successful domestic and continental campaigns. Moses featured for Galaxy during the 2026 OFC Men’s Champions League and scored in the side’s 7-1 victory over Tupapa Maraerenga.
His move to Vanuatu United comes after he impressed in the club’s recent PacificAus Sports Challenge against Central Coast Mariners. Moses scored in both matches as Vanuatu United secured two historic victories over the A-League club at Freshwater Stadium.
In the first match, Moses scored inside the opening minute as Vanuatu United won 3-2. Four days later, he scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory, helping the club complete a memorable two-match sweep.
Those performances gave a clear indication of what he can bring to Vanuatu United. Moses is capable of stretching defences, pressing aggressively from the front and producing goals in key moments. His first-minute strike against Central Coast immediately put the Australian side under pressure, while his winner in the second match showed he can decide a tighter contest.
Moses also brings experience from previous football outside Vanuatu, including a spell with Suva in Fiji. That background, combined with his knowledge of the local game and the Vanuatu national-team environment, makes him an important addition as Vanuatu United prepare for another OFC Pro League campaign.
The club showed improvement during the latter stages of its first professional season and has been active in strengthening its squad. The arrival of Moses adds another proven attacking option to a group that already contains several experienced Ni-Vanuatu players.
For Vanuatu United, the signing is not only about adding depth. It is about securing a player who has already made an immediate impression in the club’s colours.
