It was reported in February that the Telekom S-League’s board is looking for applicants for new clubs to join the main football tournament in the country. The 2019-20 season had nine teams fighting for the title including Isabel United and Laugu United that joined the league last season.

Solomon Warriors are the current league champions and they will surely be in the next edition alongside with current runner-up Henderson Eels.
