Bad news for Lautoka. It was confirmed that 21-year defender Arami Manumanubai is set to leave the club to play in Australia when the borders reopen.
Manumanubai will join Asaeli Batikasa, Peni Tuigulagula, Savenaca Baledrokadroka, Tito Vodowaqa at Frankston Pines FC. It was reported in February that he could be joining Pines with these four other players and now it is one step away to become a reality – “Playing overseas has always been my dream,” said Manumanubai.

The young defender did not travel to Australia with the other players because he was going to play 2020 OFC Champions League for Lautoka. He should have gone to Australia right after the continental tournament but COVID-19 prevented him to go.
Manumanubai is one of the most talented defenders from his country. He represented his country in OFC Olympic Qualifier that was held in Fiji last year.
