Suva one step away from Vodafone Premier League’s title

The 2020 Vodafone Premier League is being one of the most thrilling editions in the recent history of Fijian football. Although we are still two matchdays away from the end of the league, the national champions can be defined this Sunday.

This weekend can be historical for Suva as the Capital City Boys have the chance to clinch the league title against their greatest rivals Rewa at Ratu Cakobau Park on Sunday. Currently leading the championship with 25 points in twelve games, Suva need only one victory to become champion inside the greatest rivals’ home.

On the other hand, Rewa do not want to be beaten at home as they still dream of winning the national league – and beating Suva means reaching the top of the table. The Delta Tigers are treating this match as The match of the century because of its great importance.

Suva won the national league three times while Rewa have never won this tournament. This amazing clash is set to kick-off at 3pm (local time) on Sunday. You can check the current Vodafone Premier League standings, results and top scorers by clicking here.
