
Henderson Eels clinched Telekom S-League title with one game in advance after beating Southern United by 8-0 at Lawson Tama Stadium in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.
Joses Nawo and Raphael Lea’i led their side with three goals each while Augustine Waita scored the other two goals. With this result, Eels have broken Solomon Warriors’ streak to clinch the national title for the first time ever.
