Shaw is not new to the Solomon Islands team, having been a technical analyst for the Kurukuru during their European camp in 2021 and the last FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania. He is familiar with the team’s playing style and is well-equipped to lead them in the upcoming qualifiers.

The SIFF believes that Shaw’s appointment will provide the team with the right direction and guidance to succeed in the qualifiers. The team has had previous success in international competitions. With Shaw’s expertise, they hope to qualify for the 2024 Futsal World Cup and make a strong impression at the tournament.
