In a surprising turn of events, Solomon Islands striker Barrie Limoki has made the decision to leave Nadi, in the Digicel Fiji Premier League, and return to his home country. The striker left Fiji some weeks ago and he is already out of the squad for Fiji FACT. The 19-year-old player, who had previously played for Kossa, cited personal reasons for his departure from Nadi. While it may come as a disappointment for the club and its fans, Limoki expressed his desire to continue his football career in the Telekom S-League, the premier football league in the Solomon Islands.
Although Limoki has expressed his interest in playing in the Telekom S-League, he will have to wait until the next registration period to join a club. This means that there is still some time before his future destination is determined.
