Bula FC have confirmed that Trinidad and Tobago international Kaïlé Auvray will remain with the Fijian club for the 2027 OFC Professional League season, securing the services of one of their most promising attacking players for a second consecutive campaign.
The 22-year-old winger was an important member of the Bula Warriors during the inaugural edition of Oceania’s professional club competition, helping the team finish third in the regular season and qualify for the Top Four playoffs.
Known for his pace, technical ability and creativity in attacking areas, Auvray quickly became a familiar figure among Bula FC supporters. His decision to continue with the club provides valuable continuity as the Fijian representatives prepare for another season in the competition.
“It feels great to be back. I look forward to getting back to work with the boys and building on last season!” Auvray said following the announcement.
The winger also highlighted the importance of retaining a familiar group of players as Bula seek to improve on their first campaign.
“Having consistency is a very important element towards achieving our goals.”
Born in Caen, France, Auvray has developed an international career that has already taken him through several football environments. He spent part of his youth development with French club LOSC Lille, including involvement in the UEFA Youth League, before continuing his progression in the United States with Sporting Kansas City’s youth setup.
He subsequently moved to the Caribbean, representing Jamaica’s Cavalier SC and being part of a squad that won the 2024 CONCACAF Caribbean Cup and the 2025 Jamaica Premier League. His performances also provided opportunities in continental competition, while he made his Major League Soccer debut with Columbus Crew in 2025.
At international level, Auvray has represented Trinidad and Tobago in senior competitions, including the CONCACAF Gold Cup, Nations League and FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He previously appeared for France at under-17 level and the United States at under-16 level.
His arrival at Bula FC brought experience from outside Oceania to a newly assembled professional team. After helping the club establish itself among the leading contenders during its debut campaign, Auvray believes there is room for further progress.
Asked about the team’s ambitions for the forthcoming season, he offered an upbeat response inspired by American rapper The Notorious B.I.G.:
“As the Notorious B.I.G. said, ‘The Sky’s the Limit’…”
Auvray also acknowledged the support received from Fijian football followers, including those living overseas.
“Thank you for the continued support from all the fans in Fiji, and a shoutout to the fans in the diaspora as well!”
His return represents another important piece in Bula FC’s preparations for the second season of the OFC Professional League, with the club looking to build on its third-place regular-season finish.
