New Zealand National Football Team central defender Tommy Smith future is currently uncertain. His contract with Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer expires on 1st January and he will become a free agent player. However there is still a chance of re-signing with Rapids to play one more season in MLS.
The 29 years old defender is currently training with Ipswich Town U23 squad too keep himself in shape. Smith is very identified with Ipswich. He played for the English between 2008 and 2018, playing 267 official matches.
