
Malaita Kingz and Southern United clashed at Lawson Tama Stadium in the thirteenth matchweek of 2020-21 Telekom S-League, the national football league from the Solomon Islands. As expected, Southern United beat Malaita Kingz without too much difficulty.
The first goal of the match was netted in the 40th minute when Prince Pue scored a beautiful free kick to put Southern United ahead. The second goal was scored by Kevin Fika in the 75th minute after a beautiful cross from the left wing by Pue.
Prince Pue was on fire and the 25-year-old left back scored his second goal of the day with an amazing shot from outside the box in the 82nd minute. Team captain Joachim Waroi scored a brace while youngster Alford Kanahanimae found the net once to seal Southern’s win by 6-0.
Southern won their second match in a row and they are currently in the seventh position in the league table with fifteen points while Malaita Kingz remain on bottom of the table with twelve losses in twelve matches.
