Solomon Cup semi-finals set after thrilling group stage

The best two teams of each group are decided at the traditional Solomon Cup; the tournament that is taking place in the national stadium in Honiara – the Lawson Tama Stadium – already know the top four teams to contest for the glory. The semi-final stage is starting this Wednesday, 9th December.

A total of 83 goals were scored at the first stage of the 2020 Solomon Cup: from the Group A, the current champions Malaita Eagles and Western Tomoko qualified for the decisive phase of the tournament, while Makira Ulawa Kakamora topped the group B having Isabel Frigates as runners-up.
