Laugu United faced Kossa at Lawson Tama Stadium in the tenth matchweek of Telekom S-League – the national football league from the Solomon Islands – thinking about the possibility of getting closer to league leaders Henderson Eels.

Local star Gagame Feni opened the scoreboard for Laugu in the 30th minute after a nice pass by Augustine Samani. Kossa’s forward Ian Paia equalized in the second half by pushing the ball into the net after a cross from the left wing.

Laugu put a lot of pressure on 10-men Kossa but they did not manage to find the net. Malaita Kingz and Isabel United clashed in the tenth matchweek of Telekom S-League – the national football league from the Solomon Islands – at Lawson Tama Stadium in Honiara. This game was almost special for Kingz, as they were just a few moments away from getting their first points of the season.

Edward Huniuehu opened the scoreboard for Isabel United in the fifteenth minute while youngster Bradley Irosaea equalized from the penalty spot as the match was drawn at the halftime. Both teams worked hard to find the net but the scoreboard did not change until the 94th minute when Thomas Amasia scored a penalty kick to put Isabel United ahead.

The 2020-21 Ligue 1 VINI has kicked-off in Tahiti and two teams had a powerful start at 2020-21 Ligue 1 VINI: AS Pirae and AS Vénus. Both sides have smashed their opponents in the first matchweek of the season in the French territory.

AS Vénus debuted in the season against AS Arue at Stade Mahina. Tauhiti Keck and Mauarii Tehina scored two goals each while Teaonui Tehau scored from the penalty spot to seal the 5-0 win. Meanwhile, current league champions AS Pirae thrashed AS Mataiea by 7-2 at Stade Pater. Qalica shines as Nadroga clinches Senior Division’s IDC title in Fiji

Bua and Nadroga clashed at ANZ Stadium in Suva to decide which team would lift the trophy of 2020 Senior Division’s Inter-District Championship. After facing some problems in the first minutes, Nadroga got back on track to beat their opponents by 3-0.

Bua started the match putting lots of pressure on Nadroga’s defense but they did not manage to score while Leisari Qalica opening the scoreboard for Nadroga with a shot from outside the box in the 27th minute. Things got worse for Bua as goalkeeper Ritesh Chand got injured. He was replaced by Sumit Chand in the 33rd minute.

Nadroga extended their lead in the beginning of the second half when Osea Vakatalesau scored from the penalty spot. Fifteen minutes later, Qalica managed to score his second goal of the day to put the Stallions ahead by three goals. Nadroga is having a wonderful season as the team coached by Johnny Williams is still unbeaten in 2020. Labasa and Lautoka clashed at ANZ Stadium to decide which team would lift 2020 Inter-District Championship’s trophy. Labasa came from behind to beat their opponents by 2-1 to clinch the title for the second straight year.

In the first minutes of the second half, Labasa’s goalkeeper Akuila Mateisuva fouled Dave Radrigai inside the box. Lautoka’s captain Zibraaz Sahib took the ball and scored from the penalty spot to put the Bluez ahead.

Labasa did not give in and their efforts paid off. Ilisoni Lolaivalu equalized in the 68th minute after a free kick taken by a teammate while Ratu Anare used his head to push the ball into the net to put a smile on Labasa fans’ face. Galaxy’s Kensi Tangis was the top scorer of the tournament with thirteen goals. The 30-year-old striker scored two goals against Tupuji Imere this weekend after spending some matches without scoring. The 2020 Inter-District Championship is reaching its end as the champions of both tournaments are going to be known in a few hours. While Labasa and Lautoka will clash at Premier Division’s Final, Bua and Nadroga are ready for a huge battle at Senior Division’s Final.

Both teams have already faced each other in the group stage and Nadroga have beaten Bua by 2-0 with goals scored by Jonas Naceva and Tomasi Tuicakau. However, it is important to remember that both teams were already qualified for the semifinals at that time, so Bua and Nadroga did not play their very best in this match.

Nadroga is having a wonderful campaign at Inter-District Championship as they won all their matches so far in the tournament. On the other hand, Bua had to work the extra mile to reach the final by beating Tailevu Naitasiri in the shootout.

The 2020 winter football season is over for many clubs from New Zealand as the Ultra Football Central League finished this weekend and Miramar Rangers were crowned league champions by beating Western Suburbs 1-0. Besides that, four other matches were contested this weekend in the final matchday of Central League’s season.

Wairarapa United hammered Waterside Karori by 6-0 at Masterton Memorial Turf Park. They were led by Seule Soromon and Josh Rudland who scored two goals each. Jonty Roubos and legendary Paul Ifill also scored in this match.

Miramar Rangers clinch 2020 Ultra Football Central League title in New Zealand

Miramar Rangers and Western Suburbs clashed at David Farrington Park in the last matchday of 2020 Ultra Football Central League – one of the most important regional leagues from New Zealand – in a thrilling match.

Western Suburbs suffered a major blow in the first half when Ryan Feutz left the pitch due to an injury. Ihaia Delaney came from the bench to replace him. At the halftime, the score was a nil-nil draw and this result was enough for Miramar Rangers to clinch the Central League’s title.
